Sony has announced that their Xperia smartphone line would be getting the Android 4.0 upgrade.  The update for the Xperia ray, Xperia neon, and Xperia arc S will be initially offered to those in European countries, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland.  It will expand to additional global markets over the course of the next 6 weeks.

Users who want to do the upgrade will have to do it via computer as the update will not be available OTA and can go to http://www.sonymobile.com/update for product support and upgrade instructions.
