Sony letting developers test apps on Xperia devices

Sony has started a program that will allow Android developers to test their apps on several of their Xperia line smartphones.  It will be part of Sony’s Device Loaner Program where they can borrow the Xperia phone from the company at no charge.  Developers have 9 devices to choose from and can keep the device for 30 days.  Currently, the program is available to those in U.S. and Canada, but those in other countries can participate if they pay for shipping and other charges.  Of course the company has security measures in place to make sure they get their device back; a valid credit card is needed and will be charged for the full price plus 10% as a restocking fee.
