Olympus Corp has been considering an equity tie-up amongst five companies. One of those companies briefly spoke out about the possibilities. An anonymous source at Samsung said, “We are open to the possibility of an alliance with Olympus.” An alliance will help improve camera quality on Samsung devices. In addition to Samsung, other companies include Sony and Panasonic. A Samsung spokesperson had said that they had not received a “detailed offer” from Olympus.
