In more unfortunate events for the Canadian-based company, RIM the manufacturer of BlackBerry devices, has started to lay off some of their employees. They didn’t announce how many jobs would be cut out of the current 17,500 employees the company has. 9,000 employees are in Waterloo, Ontario, where RIM is headquartered.
