An analyst at Wedbush Securities gave a less than stellar report regarding Research in Motion PlayBook sales.  Scott Sutherland predicts that RIM will sell only 450,000 PlayBook’s this quarter and will ship 2.3 million by their fiscal year ending in February.  He believes that sales will slow due to the requirement of the BlackBerry Bridge to get email.  If users don’t have it, they must go on the web to get their email, contacts, and calendar.

Although not a strong prediction, Sutherland believes that the RIM PlayBook will outsell the Motorola Xoom.  RIM hasn’t given exact figures yet abut sales and is making us wait until their quarterly results on June 16^th.
