According to Mobilewalla, mobile apps are about to reach a big milestone. There are about to be one million applications available across the four major platforms, which include iOS, Android, Blackberry, and Windows Phone. There are currently 987,863 apps available across all of these platforms. If the company included Symbian’s Nokia Ovi Store, the apps availability would be over one million.

Apple’s iOS has the majority of the apps available, which is approximately 59% of the apps. Android holds the next largest with 32%.
