Jelly Bean coming to three HTC One series phones

Google has recently released its latest version of Android OS and every Android user wants to get his hands on it. For now, there is good news for HTC fans, as word is out that HTC is preparing to bring v4.1 Jelly Bean to its devices.

Not surprisingly, HTC has decided to upgrade its top Android models to the new version. The phones slated to get Jelly Bean update are – HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S.

Talking about the development, HTC spokesperson said:

At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean.

Android OS v4.1 Jelly Bean was announced late last month by Google at its I/O developer conference in San Francisco. Prominent updates featured in the latest version include super smooth graphics, Google Knowledge Graph for easier card-form search results and Google Now smart assistant that detects user’s current location and provides information about shortest possible routes and ETA to selected destination on their Android devices.
