The same source that told iMore that the iPad 3 would be announced on March 7th (and was correct), has now told iMore that the announcement will include 4G LTE networking. It remains to be seen how Apple will handle all of the different 4G LTE bands being used internationally, if the rumour is in fact true. The Wall Street Journal has previously reported that AT&T and Verizon will be receiving LTE equipped iPads in the U.S, but had nothing to say, regarding the devices release internationally.
I personally think that a 3G iPad 3/2S/HD will be released globally, whilst AT&T and Verizon release a 4G LTE variant. There are so many different frequencies in use for 4G LTE, that Apple will need to work in conjunction with major carriers around the globe, it is not simply a matter of putting all of the frequencies into one device. What do you think? Will the iPad 3 support 4G LTE?
