It’s clear that Apple and Android have the largest market places, but RIM is still  trying.  Blackberry App World has now surpassed 10,000 applications available for download.  As compared to Apple with 250,000 apps and Android with 100,000 apps, this is extremely small, but it means that there are some developers out there.

The challenge that the growing Blackberry App World faces is that many of its enterprise users are unable to even download applications because they’re locked down.  Also, developers have said that it’s difficult to create applications for Blackberry.
