When it comes to the worldwide mobile browser market, Apple’s Safari is dominating. According to a study from NetApplications, Safari, the iOS’s default web browser, is powering 52.99% as of August 2011.
Opera Mini powers 20.77% of the market, while Google’s Android is 15.73%, Symbian is 5.83%, Blackberry with 2.90%, and Opera Mobile .58%.
Although Google’s Android OS holds more of the global marketshare than iOS, the iPad tablet is giving Apple a major advantage in this area.
