Google has announced that the Android Market has reached a major milestone and has just reached 10 billion downloads since its launch. This number isn’t surprising considering there are approximately 550K Android devices activated daily and around 200 million are already activated.

In July, Apple announced 15 billion app downloads for the App store and RIM had 1 billion apps downloaded in their Blackberry App World.
