Twitter users must really love taking pictures with their iPhone’s camera, because new research from Skylines shows that nearly 40% of pictures uploaded to Twitter, are coming from iOS devices! Twitter for iPhone, Instagram and the iOS5 camera app account for at least 39% of pictures posted to Twitter, and the iOS5 camera app is now the 7th most used client to upload pictures to Twitter. iOS5′s Twitter integration appears to be paying off for both Apple and Twitter. It is a little surprising that more pictures are uploaded from BlackBerry devices than Android devices, due to the amount of Android mobiles available on the market, with many of them packing 8MP cameras.
